LUXEMBOURGA day trip to Luxembourg (about two hours' drive).
The view from the city centre over the Petrusse Valley and the Adolphe Bridge.
And from further along the road.
Some rather attractive Art Nouveau architecture.
The Grand Ducal Palace, with a guard outside marching up and down with great pomp and ceremony ... and sweat (it was a very hot day to be wearing a uniform).
The lovely old 'Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin' (too wide to fit in one photo so spot the join).
